New sculpture for King’s High

The King’s High community will move into a bespoke, state of the art new school in September 2019. However, it is the pupils, staff and members of the community who will help the new classrooms and corridors come alive with the “spirit of King’s”.

To help create a new sense of belonging in the new space, the school has commissioned professional artist Liz Middleton to capture the “spirit of King’s” and make a new sculpture. This will be placed outside the entrance of the new King’s High building and will become part of the identity of the new school.

We are very excited to see what Liz produces. This sculpture was made possible, in part, by a generous bequest from a former pupil.
